  • Jay Graham | Chief Executive Officer
    Jay C. Graham served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of WildHorse Resource Development Corporation. Mr. Graham served as Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the board of directors of Memorial Resource Development Corp. from January 2016 until it was acquired by Range Resources Corporation in 2016. Previously, Mr. Graham served as Co-CEO and Co-Founder of WildHorse Resources I and WildHorse Resources II from August 2007 until January 2016. Prior to founding WildHorse, Mr. Graham held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in Halliburton, Devon Energy and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Further, Mr. Graham currently serves on the Petroleum Industry Board and the College of Engineering Advisory Council at Texas A&M University, is a co-founder and advisor of the Texas A&M Petroleum Ventures Program educational collaboration between the Mays Business School and Department of Petroleum Engineering and is also a member of the Petroleum Engineering Academy of Distinguished Graduates.
  • Kyle Roane | Executive Vice President, Business Development
    Kyle N. Roane most recently served as WildHorse Resource Development Corporation’s Executive Vice President, Business Development and General Counsel. In this role, Mr. Roane managed A&D and the Land department until WildHorse was acquired by Chesapeake Energy Corporation in 2019. Previously, Mr. Roane served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Memorial Resource Development Corp. until it was acquired by Range Resources Corporation in 2016. Mr. Roane also practiced corporate and securities law at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld L.L.P.
  • Buddy Clarke | Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
    Buddy Clarke most recently served as managing director for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors’ energy private equity group. In this role, he focused on identifying investment opportunities and monitoring performance and also served on the group's investment committee. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2008, Mr. Clarke was an associate in the natural resources investment banking group of Lehman Brothers, where he was involved in numerous financial advisory and underwriting engagements for midstream and upstream oil and gas companies. Mr. Clarke earned a B.B.A. in Finance in the Business Honors Program and a B.A. in the Plan II Honors Program from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005.
  • Paul Eschete | Executive Vice President, Land
    Paul R. Eschete served as WildHorse Resource Development Corporation’s Senior Vice President, Land and Special Projects where he managed all aspects of Land, A&D due diligence and integration, along with other various projects. Prior to WildHorse Resources Development, he served in the same role for WildHorse Resources and has been associated with WildHorse for over 10 years. Mr. Eschete began his career at Phillips Petroleum Company and has over 25 years of oil and gas land and A&D experience.
  • Todd Mucha | Executive Vice President, Water & Infrastructure
    Todd R. Mucha most recently served as WildHorse Resource Development Corporation’s Vice President, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), which included responsibility for regulatory programs such as the implementation of processes to comply with federal and state regulations and technical input to facility design, ongoing operations, incident investigations, contractor management and the resolution of violations. Mr. Mucha has nearly 24 years of experience in the oil and gas industry having started his career in 1995 with Soloco Inc., a subsidiary of NewPark Drilling Fluids, as an RSO supporting NORM cleanups across the lower 48. He later moved to HSE manager of the Texas operations assisting in developing the EHS program along with HR functions within the company’s construction and pipeline maintenance divisions. He joined Stallion Oilfield Services in 2004 as the Director of QHSE and in charge of the company’s DOT compliance.
  • John Nabors | Senior Vice President, Operations
    John M. Nabors served as WildHorse Resource Development Corporation’s Vice President of Operations. Mr. Nabors led operations, production and completions for WildHorse until it was acquired by Chesapeake Energy Corporation in 2019. Additional operational efforts included the expansion of the Oakfield Gathering System, implementation of the Oakfield Processing Facility and the design and construction of WRD’s 2 MMton/yr Burleson Sand Mine. Prior to WRD, Mr. Nabors was Operations Manager for WHRI where he completed 57 Lower Cotton Valley Horizontals in North Louisiana and was instrumental in lowering completion and LOE costs. Prior to joining WildHorse in 2011, Mr. Nabors spent 5 years with Devon Energy holding multiple engineering responsibilities in Devon’s Southern Division. Mr. Nabors holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
  • Norm Pennington | Senior Vice President, Subsurface & Strategic Planning
    Norm M. Pennington most recently served as WildHorse Resource Development Corporation’s Vice President, Reservoir Engineering. Mr. Pennington led subsurface engineering, corporate reserves, and planning until it was acquired by Chesapeake Energy Corporation in 2019. Prior to joining WildHorse in 2017, Mr. Pennington spent 11 years with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in various roles ranging from horizontal unconventionals to corporate strategic planning. Mr. Pennington holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
  • Terence Lynch | Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer
    Terence W. Lynch most recently served as WildHorse Resource Development Corporation’s (WRD) Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Lynch led WRD’s accounting, tax and SOX functions including the WRD IPO process. Prior to WRD, Mr. Lynch was the CFO for WildHorse Resources, LLC from its formative acquisitions in 2010 until the company’s sale to Memorial Resource Development for $4.0 billion in June 2014. Mr. Lynch was the CFO for WildHorse Resources II, LLC from its incorporation in 2013 until its IPO as WRD in 2016. Prior to joining WildHorse Mr. Lynch was the Sr. VP and Chief Accounting Officer for Crimson Oil and Gas (now Contango Oil and Gas) and was the Sr. VP for Internal Audit at Cheniere Energy. Mr. Lynch commenced his career working at Deloitte and Touche from 1991 through 1996. Mr. Lynch holds a CPA, a B.S. in Business and Economics from the University of Dublin, Trinity College and an MBA from Rice University.
  • Gregory Pipkin | Senior Vice President, Finance & Strategic Planning
    Gregory Pipkin currently serves as Senior Vice President, Finance and Strategic Planning. In this role, Mr. Pipkin manages the development team and oversees all financial forecasting and planning for Spur's existing assets. Mr. Pipkin most recently served as Vice President - Finance for Spur Energy Partners. Prior to joining Spur Energy Partners, Mr. Pipkin held engineering roles at Wildhorse Resource Development, Memorial Resource Development, and Halcon Resources. Mr. Pipkin earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
